Fixing and testing the radio link
FIG. G
Fix the base of the transmission box (to the wall) using screws
and
and the dowels supplied.
Fold the front panel over the base and clip it on using the locking pins.
Fit the set screw.
FIG. H
Press the test button on your detector: if the tested control panel
responds with a series of 2-tone audible signals and the "Batteries"
indicator flashes on the front panel, then the radio link is OK.

Fitting the probes
FIG. I
Flooding probe
Ground.
Metal plate.
GB
Wall.
The probe detects a minimum water level of 2 mm by immersion of
its metal flooding contacts.
It can be placed either vertically or horizontally on the ground, as requi-
red, to detect a minimum level of 2 mm. The vertical position makes it
easier to detect higher water levels (probe raised up from the ground).
Just fix the metal plate supplied and flatten the probe up against it (the
probe will be held in place by its magnet).
Mark on the skirting board (vertical fixing) or on the ground (horizon-
tal fixing) the point where the metal plate is fixed according to the selec-
ted detection height.
If the probe is vertical, the metal plate fixing hole must be placed high up.
To detect 2 mm water levels, the bottom of the plate must be fixed 1
to 2 cm from the ground.
To detect water levels in excess of 2 mm, you must raise the metal
plate to the required height.
Use the screw and dowel supplied to fix the metal plate.
FIG. J
Fitting the flooding probe
Probe.
Magnet.
Position the magnetised probe on the metal plate.
NB: To simplify maintenance, the probe can be removed. We recom-
mend that you clean it at regular intervals to avoid dust collecting bet-
ween the probe and the ground.

groove.
Deep freezer seals.
Open your deep freezer and place the probe in the middle of the fro-
zen food.
To limit cold loss, you can use the cable bushing supplied with the
accessories. Slide the cable into the cable bushing groove and stick the
cable bushing onto the freezer's seal.

Electricity failure probe
Plug and socket unit.

switch.
Correct position.
The plug and socket unit is placed upstream from the device (e.g.
aquarium) whose power supply it monitors. In the event of a power cut,
the probe responds either after a cut of more than 18 min or a cut of
more than 5 hours, according to your choice. You can choose the
duration by means of a switch placed under the pin part of the plug and
socket unit.
Once you have chosen the duration
ket unit to a wall socket.
FIG. N
Minimum temperature probe
Inside wall.
Metal plate.
The minimum temperature probe measures the surrounding temperatu-
re. We recommend that you place it at least 1.50 metres above the
ground (fixed to an inside wall or placed on a shelf) in a room without
drafts.
The probe must be fixed near the heat source for no-freeze heating
(+8°C).
FIG. O
Fitting the minimum temperature probe
Fix the metal plate using the screw and dowel supplied.

NB: to simplify maintenance, the probe can be removed. We recom-
mend that you clean it at regular intervals.
Position the magnetised probe on its metal plate.

Testing your detectors
Ensure that you position your control panel in the normal mode
(wall-mounted).
Simulate a domestic problem:
flooding:
immerse both probe contacts. The probe will detect flooding 2 seconds
later.
deep freezer failure:
place the probe in your freezer for roughly 1 hour to ensure it is at
the same temperature as the food (-14°C).
Take the probe out of the freezer. One or two minutes later the probe
temperature will rise to -12°C and detect a freezer failure.
electricity failure:
leave the plug and socket unit plugged in for 1/4 hour and then
unplug it in order to simulate an electricity cut. 18 min ± 20% or
5 hours ± 20% later (as configured) the probe will detect an electri-
city failure.
minimum temperature probe:
your detector must not be fixed for this test as the probe has to be
moved.
Immerse the probe in the deep-freeze part of your refrigerator.
The probe detects frost for temperatures under +5°C.
