MANUAL TIME SETTING
Manual time setting is required if the clock is intended for operation beyond
the range of the DCF signal.
In order to adjust the time manually, press the M.SET (3) button for 3 seconds.
As soon as the minute hand begins to run, you can adjust the time manually:
Press the M.SET (3) button briefl y in order to adjust the time in minutes or keep the
M.SET (3) button pressed to adjust the time continuously.
If the M.SET (3) button was not pressed at all for 8 seconds, the set time is automati-
cally accepted and the mode of the manual time setting quit.
INITIATE DCF RECEPTION TRIAL MANUALLY
Use this function if for instance, the automatic summer/winter time conver-
sion was not recognised or the clock had no DCF reception for a while.
The previously received DCF data is not deleted and the clock resets itself to
the time indicated previously upon failure of reception trial.
In order to carry out a manual search for the DCF signal, press the REC (4) button
for 3 seconds.
The hands run to the receiver position (12:00) and the radio-controlled clock per-
forms a reception trial for the DCF signal.
Wait for about 3-12 minutes until the current time is indicated.
RESETTING THE CLOCK
Use this function if the clock no longer responds to keystrokes or other
malfunctions occur.
In the process, all of the previously received DCF data is deleted.
In order to reset the radio-controlled clock, press the RESET (2) button.
The hands run to the receiver position (12:00) and the radio-controlled clock per-
forms a reception trial for the DCF signal.
Wait for about 3-12 minutes until the current time is indicated.
INSTALLATION
Mount the radio-controlled clock on the wall with a nail, screw or hook, so as to
prevent it from falling down.
For interference-free DCF reception, the radio-controlled clock should not
be hung close to other electronic devices, cables, metal items, etc.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

The product does not require any maintenance apart from the change of batteries
and should never be disassembled for any reason.
Please use a soft, dry, clean cloth for cleaning. Do not use aggressive detergents as
these can cause discoloration of the case.
DISPOSAL
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste materials and must not be disposed
of in the household waste!
Dispose of the unserviceable product according to the relevant statutory
regulations!
Remove any inserted battery and dispose of it separately from the product.
b) Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
The end user is legally obliged (Battery Regulation) to return used batteries and
rechargeable batteries. Do not dispose of used batteries in the household waste!
Contaminated batteries / rechargeable batteries are labelled with these
symbols to indicate that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The
symbols for the relevant heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury,
Pb=lead (the labelling is visible on the battery/rechargeable battery e.g. un-
der the refuse bin symbol shown on the left).
You can dispose of your used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of
charge at your community's collection point or any place where batteries/
rechargeable batteries are sold!
You thereby fulfi l your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.
