f Secure the tee and 3-way ball shut-off valve, each with a flat f
gasket, to the twin nipples.
Material losses
!
The strainer must be fitted for the appliance to function.
f When replacing an appliance, check whether the f
strainer is installed.
Removing the flow limiter
Note
If you are using a thermostatic valve, you must not re-
move the flow limiter.
If the flow rate is too low, remove the flow limiter. To do this,
remove the function module from the appliance back panel.

f Release the locking hook. f
f Push the function module in the appliance back panel slightly f
towards the back.
f Remove the function module from the appliance back panel f
by pulling it slightly forwards and lifting it off.

f Remove the cold water pipe bend and the O-ring. f
f Remove the flow limiter from the cold water inlet of the heat- f
er using a pointed object or suitable pliers.
f Refit the cold water pipe bend and the O-ring. f
Material losses
!
The O-ring must be fitted to prevent the appliance from
leaking.
f As part of installation, check that the O-ring is in f
place.
f Secure the cold water pipe bend with the locking clip. f
Material losses
!
Ensure that the locking clip is located behind the recess
in the pipe bend and fixes the bend in position.
f Mount the function module in reverse order in the appliance f
back panel until the function module clicks into place.
