Read the complete user manual before carrying out the installation and activating the system.
Keep the manual for future reference.
1. DESCRIPTION
This is a high-quality, adaptable and energy-efficient luminaire with a clean design. With its homogeneous
lighting effect, the lamp ensures superior lighting in all conditions. As the lamp is equipped with a built-in PIR
sensor, it only switches on when necessary.
As soon as someone is detected, the light is switched on daylight-dependent. The lamp only switches on once
the set daylight condition (twilight level) is no longer reached and remains active as long as human movement
is detected.
This manual applies to the following lamp types:
LED type
LED 13 W
LED 22 W
Colour temperature led
Warm white 3,000 K
Cold white 5,000 K
Lampshade material
SABIC
Aluminium details
These lamp types are also available without the built-in PIR sensor (see reference number 352-0867x).
2. USE
Suitable for corridors, hallways, stairways, lobbies, garages and sheltered outdoor areas.
Be aware of the following during installation (see fig. 1):
• The detection range depends on the mounting position and the walking direction.
• As the movement sensor reacts to the temperature difference between heat sources and the ambient temperature,
the detection range changes according to the circumstances of the mounting position.
• Mount the motion detector solely on stable ceilings.
• When wall-mounted, the lamp is not protected against splashing water.
• The detection range can be reduced by masking the lens.
• Keep a safe 1 metre distance from lamps mounted at the same height.
• Avoid heat and cold sources in the immediate detection range and below the lamp itself.
3. OPERATION
This lamp has a built-in passive infrared sensor (PIR) which responds to the displacement of heat caused by
persons and their movements. If the sensor detects movement, the lamp switches on automatically. Once
the set time (approx. 3 s to 15 min) after the final detection has lapsed, the lamp automatically switches off.
The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life the whole
luminaire shall be replaced.
4. MOUNTING
The lamp is designed for mounting on the wall or ceiling, at a height of 2 to 4 m.
The lamp is mounted as follows:
1. Open the lamp by turning the central part of the lampshade anti-clockwise and loosening the two screws
below (see fig. 3a).
2. Remove the base.
3. Insert the power supply cable into the included (but still to be applied) flexible membrane entry at the
bottom of the base (see fig. 3b).
4. Mark the drill holes on the ceiling or wall and drill the holes the same size as the plugs provided (see fig. 3c).
5. Firmly press the plugs into the drill holes (see fig. 3d).
6. Attach the base against the ceiling or wall.
7. Connect the wires as shown in the wiring diagram in fig. 4 (also see § 5).
8. Set the desired settings for the PIR sensor (also see § 6).
9. Place the lampshade on the base, secure with the two screws and close the central part by gently turning
clockwise (see fig. 3f).
After the connection to the electricity grid, the lamp will switch on and warm up for 1 minute. After 1 minute,
the lamp is ready for use.
5. WIRING
Connect the detector as shown in the wiring diagram in fig. 4.
Conductor
Neutral conductor
It is recommended to pass additional load through an external relay.
An N.C. push button or switch (to be ordered separately) can be connected for permanent lighting (except
352-02787) (see fig. 4).
6. CONFIGURATION
6.1. Light sensitivity
Using the LUX potentiometer, you can set the threshold value of the twilight switch continuously ƒ (night mode,
5 lux) and ð (daytime mode, 2,000 lux) (see fig. 5c and 6c). In automatic mode, the light is only switched on
once the set threshold value is reached.

6.2. Switch-off delay

• 352-02780, 352-02783, 352-02784: Using the TIME potentiometer, the switch-off delay is set between
3 s to 15 min (see fig. 5a).
• 352-02787: with the STANDBY potentiometer you choose standby ON (once the switch-off delay has elapsed,
4
lighting stays on at 20 %) or standby OFF (once the switch-off delay has elapsed, the lighting switches off
completely). Using the same potentiometer, you can also set the switch-off delay itself (see fig. 6a).
The switch-off delay determines the length of time the light stays on after the final movement in the detection area.

6.3. Detection range

Using the SENS potentiometer, the sensitivity of the PIR sensor can be set between ± 2 and 8 m (see fig. 5b and 6b).

using the LUX potentiometer (in the direction of the moon symbol)
• Using the SENS potentiometer, increase the sensitivity of the PIR sensor
• Check the lighting and the fuse
• The threshold value was reached. Lower the light sensitivity using the
LUX potentiometer (in the direction of the sun symbol)
• Using the SENS potentiometer, lower the sensitivity of the PIR sensor
• Check detection area for causes of incorrectly switching on (heat
sources, draft, etc. )
• Reduce the chances of errors by masking the lens
• Check detection area for causes of incorrectly switching on (heat
sources, draft, etc. )
• The permanent lighting mode has been activated. Press once on the
interruption button to return to automatic mode.
