Ionstorm 3850 Bar
Rigid, easy to clean synthetic body with a unique double wall separating dedicated negative and
positive emitters for reliability and performance.
Emitters
•
Made of tungsten for unrivalled performance and longevity.
•
Resistively coupled to the HV for shockless operation.
•
Replaceable if damaged – by pulling vertically.
•
Emitters are packed separately for transit - they should be inserted in the sockets on the 3850
Bar.
•
Fibre and other contaminants should be periodically removed from the tungsten wire in the
emitters to maintain high performance.
Cable
2m of HT cable in a protective sleeve is supplied unless otherwise specified. It is not possible to
retrofit longer cable lengths after manufacture.
IMPORTANT: The power/electricity must be switched off when connecting or disconnecting
these connectors. If you connect, or disconnect the cable connectors when
the power in ON you risk receiving an electric shock and serious damage to
the Controller could be caused through sparking.
Effective Length
The active length of the Bar is longer than the actual length of the Bar because the ionised air
spreads out. At a distance of 500mm the effective length is 100mm longer than the actual length.
