2) Posizionare manualmente la torretta (16, Fig. A) contro il
bordo del cerchio, premere il pulsante giallo situato sulla ma-
niglia (9, Fig. A) che provoca il bloccaggio contemporaneo
dell'asta esagonale (10, Fig. A) e del braccio orizzontale (11,
Fig. A).La torretta (16, Fig. A) verrà automaticamente alzata e
allontanata di 2 mm. dal bordo del cerchio.
3) Con l'aiuto della leva (17, Fig. A) fare forza sull'appoggio della
torretta (16, Fig. A) e portare il tallone del pneumatico sopra la
parte a forma di unghia della torretta stessa.
N.B.: Per evitare di pizzicare la camera d'aria è consigliabile
effettuare questa operazione con la valvola a circa 10 cm. a
destra della torretta. Mantenendo la leva in questa posizione
fare ruotare l'autocen- trante (2, Fig. A) in senso orario
tenendo premuto il pedale (1, Fig. A) fino a che il pneumatico
non sia uscito completamente dal cerchione.
Tenere le mani e le altre parti del
corpo il più lontano possibile dalla
torretta quando l'autocentrante è
in fase di rotazione per evitare
rischi di schiacciamento.
NOTA: Se il tallone del pneumatico, in gomme partico-
larmente "dure", tende a scendere dalla torretta, prima
di ruotare l'autocentrante in senso orario farlo ruotare per
alcuni centimetri in senso antiorario, mantenendo la leva
(17, Fig. A) in posizione come da fig. E.
4) Se il pneumatico ne é provvisto, togliere la camera d'aria.
5) Procedere come al punto 3 anche per il tallone inferiore
6) Premere il pedale (7, Fig. A) in modo che il palo (8, Fig. A)
si ribalti in posizione di fuori lavoro. Togliere il pneumatico dal
cerchio.

2) Position the mount/demount tool (16, Fig. A) by hand against
the edge of the rim. Press the yellow button on the handle (9,
Fig. A). The vertical slide (10, Fig. A) and swing arm (11, Fig. A)
will be automatically locked in position and, at the same time,
the mount/demount head (16, Fig. A) will be lifted 2 mm off
the rim edge.
3) With the help of the bead lifting tool (17, Fig. A) inserted over
the forward end of the mount/demount tool
(16, Fig. A) and below the top bead, lift the upper bead over
the knob portion of the mount/demount head.
N.B. To prevent pinching the inner tube, do this operation with
the valve about 10 cm to the right of the mount/demount
tool.
Hold the bead lifting tool in this position and hold the pedal
(1, Fig. A) depressed to turn the table top (2, Fig. A) clockwise
until the tyre comes completely off the rim.
To prevent industrial accidents,
keep hands and other parts of the
body as far from the tool arm as
possible when the table top
is turning.
Note: If the bead rubber is particularly hard and stiff, it
will tend to slip off the mount/demount tool. To prevent
this, before turning the table top clockwise, rotate it an-
ticlockwise for a couple of centimeters while holding the
bead lifting tool (17, Fig. A) as shown in Fig. E.
4) Remove the inner tube if the tyre has one.
5) Repeat the procedure described in point 3 to demount
the lower bead.
6) Depress pedal (7, Fig. A). The tower (8, Fig. A) will tilt back-
wards to its non-working position.Remove the tyre from the
rim.
