1. INPUT jacks (L/MONO, R)
Use these jacks to connect musical instruments
such as a guitar. When connecting in mono, connect
your instrument to the L/MONO input jack.
When a cable is connected to the INPUT (L/
MONO) jack, the SDD-3000 PEDAL will turn on.
2. OUTPUT jacks (L/MONO, R)
Connect your guitar amp or mixer to these jacks.
When connecting in mono, connect to the L/
MONO output jack.
Do not connect headphones to the OUTPUT
jack. The headphones may be damaged.
Tip: Some delay types will produce the best
results when connected in stereo.
Tip: Connect guitars, amplifiers or mixers to
the SEND/RETURN jacks according to your
preferences. If necessary, enable the NO DRY
function (See page 24).
3. CONTROL PEDAL jack
Use this jack to connect optional expression
pedals such as the KORG XVP-10 or EXP-2.
4. MIDI jacks (IN, OUT/THRU)
The MIDI IN jack is for receiving MIDI data.
Use this jack to control the SDD-3000 PEDAL
from a connected external MIDI device.
The MIDI OUT/THRU jack is used for
sending MIDI data. Use this jack to control
a connected external MIDI device from the
SDD-3000 PEDAL. In addition, depending on
the specified settings, MIDI messages that are
input to the MIDI IN jack can be directly output.

The MIDI settings are disabled in MID/SYS
setting mode, when saving a program, and
when specifying or canceling pedal settings.
About MIDI
MIDI stands for Musical Instrument Digital
Interface, and is a world-wide standard for
exchanging various types of musical data
between electronic musical instruments
and computers. When MIDI cables are
used to connect two or more MIDI devices,
performance data can be exchanged
between the devices, even if they were
made by different manufacturers.
5. Cable hook
Wrap the AC adapter cable
around this hook to prevent
the AC adapter from being
accidentally disconnected.
6. DC 9V jack
Connect the included AC adapter to this jack.
Using other AC adapters may result in a
malfunction.
Connect the AC adapter to the main unit
first before connecting it to an electric outlet.
