Cancelling the Toasting Process
If the toasting setting is too high the bread could become charred and smoke could de-
velop. In this case you interrupt the toasting process by pressing the Stop key (6). The
bread and the lowering lever (3) are automatically raised and the device switches itself
off. The Stop key (6) switches off.
Toasting Frozen Bread
Set the desired degree of toasting. Place the frozen bread in the toasting slots (2) and
press down the lowering lever (3). Then press the Defrost button (4). The Defrost
button (4) also lights up and the toasting process is extended.
Warming Up Bread
If you wish to warm up bread, you place the bread in the toasting slots (2), press down
the lowering lever (3) and then press the Warm-up key (5). The Warm-up key (5) also
lights up and the length of the toasting process is reduced.
Warming up or toasting bread rolls
In order to warm up or toast bread rolls it is necessary to apply the bread roll grill (1). For
this purpose you press down the bread roll grill lever (9). The bread roll grill is positioned
directly on top of the toasting slots (2). Use the toaster in the normal way.
By lifting the bread roll grill lever (9) the bread roll grill is lowered again.

Cleaning and Care

PLEASE NOTE!
■ Always pull out the mains plug and allow the device to cool down before cleaning it.
■ Do not use any metal objects to remove burnt bread residues from the device.
■ The crumb tray of the toaster is not suitable for the dishwasher.
■ Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents! They could damage the sur-
face.
■ Do not spray cleaning agents directly onto the toaster.
• Wipe the outside of the device with a clean and slightly damp cloth.
• Regularly empty the crumb tray:
1. Carefully remove the crumb tray (8).
2. Remove the crumbs and if necessary wipe the crumb tray (8) with a damp cloth, or
rinse it with mild washing-up liquid under running water.
3. Carefully dry and replace the crumb tray (8).
