Before You Begin (cont.)
CAUTION: Risk of property damage. Only apply 100% silicone sealant to the
areas where instructed to do so. Do not apply silicone sealant to any other areas.
The inappropriate application of silicone sealant may trap moisture and could
result in mold, leakage, or mildew. We recommend using colored 100% silicone
sealant to match the color of the product. Use of latex based or other caulks is not
recommended. Follow the shower door and silicone sealant manufacturer's
instructions.
CAUTION: Risk of product damage. To avoid rust marks on your product,
ensure the roofing nails or non-tapered flathead screws are galvanized or plated. If
using galvanized or plated non-tapered flathead screws, do not overtighten the
screws. Excessive tightening can damage the wall flange. Consult local building
codes to determine if the screws or nails must be galvanized or plated.
IMPORTANT! The receptor cannot be installed alone without the wall surrounds.
Read all instructions before you begin.
Observe all applicable plumbing and building codes.
This product must be installed in an alcove.
Do not remove the old fixture before you unpack and inspect the new unit.
Upon receipt, check for shortages or damage. Report any shortages or damage
immediately.
If remodeling, measure the existing framework before removing the old receptor
to make sure that the new one will fit. Make sure that the drain is in the correct
location.
Confirm adequate mounting and connection space for the water supply and drain
installation.
Receptors with wall surrounds can be ordered with factory-installed backer kits
for grab bars or with the grab bars pre-attached. It is the installer's responsibility
to consider applicable codes and standards when supplying and installing grab
bars to the factory-installed backer kits.

ATTENTION: Risque d'endommagement du produit. Installer le receveur sur un
plancher correctement supporté et nivelé. L'espace du bassin ne nécessite pas de
support additionnel lorsque le plancher est nivelé et d'équerre avec les montants
du cadre. Utiliser des cales pour un support additionnel si le plancher est
irrégulier. Ne pas installer le receveur sur des charpentes exposées de sol brut.
ATTENTION: Risque d'endommagement du matériel. N'appliquer que du
mastic à la silicone à 100 % aux emplacements indiqués. Ne pas appliquer de
mastic à la silicone à d'autres endroits. L'application inappropriée du mastic à la
silicone peut renfermer de l'humidité et créer ainsi des fuites ou de la moisissure.
Nous conseillons d'utiliser un mastic à la silicone à 100% coloré pour s'assortir à
la couleur du produit. L'usage de latex ou d'autres mastics n'est pas recommandé.
Suivre les instructions du fabricant de la porte de douche et du mastic à la
silicone.
