Menu Set-point
The set-point menu enables you to set the operation mode to the water's set-point
temperature for each operation mode (cooling, heating, recovery and DHW).
I.3.2.1
Change of operating mode
Sets whether the selection of the unit's operating mode must be made via

the display or via external digital contact (Paragraph II.3.2, Summer/winter

you can set:
COOLING and HEATING for HP versions without RC100
AUTOMATIC and SELECT for EXP or HP+RC100 versions
In Automatic mode, the unit automatically selects whether to cool the
primary side and/or heat the recovery side based on heating capacity
request. In Select mode, the unit automatically selects whether to heat the
primary side or recovery side based on heating capacity request
(Only with freecooling versions) It sets the operating mode of the

I.3.2.2
AF+ function
The AF+ function can be set in Economy or Precision mode.
In Economy mode it is possible to combine comfort with the need for low energy
consumption. In fact, by adjusting the Set-point value, it optimises compressor
operation on the basis of the actual working conditions.
If it is set to PRECISION mode, it is possible to set the set-point compensation in
the following screen via the climatic curve.
Using the Precision function makes it possible to achieve the smallest possible
average fluctuation, at partial loads, from the average Set-point of the water
temperature delivered to the users.
The AF+ function is not available for versions with screw or Turbocor compressor
or if the adjustment is set on the return.
It is possible to choose between the following types of efficiency:
Label
Features of the regulation curve
Use the set-point set by the user (default)
Precision
Buildings with very unbalanced loads
Economy LOW
Efficiency higher than the standard
Intermediate comfort and efficiency (default)
Economy MED
Buildings with well-distributed loads
Economy HIGH
High efficiency
USM_CONTROL EQS_2335a21275_208549_210701_ES-EN-FR-DE-IT
The three adjustment curves correspond to three different laws of variation of the
Set-point based on the load, in order to modify the degree of comfort which can be
obtained in the room and the efficiency of the machine.

The following screen enables you to set the unit's work set-point from the display

for cooling, heating and recovery mode.
3
It is also possible to change the work set-point by means of the DSP digital
contact (default accessory) or by means of the climatic compensation function.
4
5
The double set-point function allows the use of two different set-points on the
basis of a digital input.
Closing/opening a DSP input decides the set-point to use for all operating modes
(cooling, heating, recovery); to exclude DSP action in an operating mode, set both
set-points with the same value in that operating mode.
For further information, refer to the wiring diagram attached to the machine.

The set-point currently used by the unit is identified by an arrow.
