GENERIC DANGER!
The DANGER sign warns the operator and maintenance
personnel about risks that may cause death, physical
injury, or immediate or latent illnesses of any kind.
DANGER: LIVE COMPONENTS!
The DANGER: LIVE COMPONENTS sign warns the operator
and maintenance personnel about risks due to the
presence of live voltage.
DANGER: SHARP EDGES!
The DANGER: SHARP EDGES sign warns the operator and
maintenance personnel about the presence of potentially
dangerous sharp edges.
DANGER: HOT SURFACES!
The DANGER: HOT SURFACES sign warns the operator
and maintenance personnel about the presence of
potentially dangerous hot surfaces.
IMPORTANT WARNING!
The IMPORTANT WARNING sign indicates actions or
hazards that could damage the unit or its equipment.
SAFEGUARD THE ENVIRONMENT!
The environmental safeguard sign provides instructions on
how to use the machine in an environmentally friendly
manner.

This manual refers to version 13.6 of the HITECSA Chiller machine software.

This document reflects the state of the art of the control system, of which it
is an integral part, upon its introduction onto the market, and complies with
the Laws, Directives and Standards in force at that time. It cannot be
considered inadequate just because subsequently updated according to new
experiences.

Safety.
Notes:
This manual describes the operation of the software on the Microprocessor
electronic control. The software is suitable for managing different types of units.
Below are the main construction features and the names used herein to refer to
them.
Types of unit:
Chillers, referred to herein as chiller versions;
Heat pumps, referred to herein as HP versions;
EXPsystems - Multi-purpose ecological system, referred to herein as EXP
versions;
Air cooled water chillers in freecooling mode, referred to herein as freecooling
versions.
Types of compressor:
Scroll rotary hermetic compressor, referred to herein as scroll compressor;
Scroll rotary hermetic compressor with Inverter operation, referred to herein as
inverter scroll compressor;
Semi-hermetic screw compressor, referred to herein as screw compressor;
Semi-hermetic screw compressor driven by fixed speed motor with linear
capacity control, referred to herein as linear screw compressor;
Semi-hermetic screw compressor with variable Vi intrinsic compression ratio
and inverter-operated rotation control, referred to herein as linear screw
compressor;
Limited start high energy efficiency oil free centrifugal compressor, referred to
herein as Turbocor compressor.
Type of condensing:
Air cooled condensation. The air cooled units are referred to herein as water-
air units;
Water cooled condensation. The water cooled units are referred to herein as
water-water units.
Recovery units:
Desuperheater, referred to herein as DS.
Heat recovery unit with 100% recovery, referred to herein as RC100.
For ex. heat pumps with Heat recovery unit are referred to herein as HP versions
with RC100;
