b . Connect the male end into a wall outlet that meets the specifications provided in "8 .3,
Physical Specifications" . This outlet must have protective earth .
2 . Connect the medical display or external capture device .
If not using an external video capture device, connect video from the Camera Control
System to the medical display by either of the following options:
a . Connect one end of a DisplayPort to DVI cable (included) from either DisplayPort Output
on the Camera Control System (3) to a DVI input on the medical display, or
b . Connect one end of an 3G-SDI cable (included) from any 3G-SDI Output on the Camera
Control System (2) to an 3G-SDI input on the medical display .
If using an external digital capture device:
a . Connect video from the Camera Control System to the digital capture device by
connecting one end of an included 3G-SDI cable from either 3G-SDI Output on
the Camera Control System (2) to an 3G-SDI input on the digital capture device .
Alternatively, use the DisplayPort .
b . Connect a remote cable from the Camera Control System to the digital capture device by
plugging one remote cable into the Remote 1 Output on the Camera Control System (6)
and the image capture remote input on the digital capture device .
c . Plug another remote cable into Remote 2 on the Camera Control System (6) and the
video capture remote input on the digital capture device .
d . Connect video from the digital capture device to the medical display according to the
Instructions For Use for both devices .
3 . If using the printer, connect the printer USB cable from rear panel USB-A 2 .0 ports on the
Camera Control System (4) to the USB port on the printer
4 . If using the medical keyboard, connect the medical keyboard to the front (Figure 1, Point 4)
or rear (Figure 3, Point 4) USB connectors on the Digital Capture Device (4) .
5 . Turn on the Supply Main power switch on the back of the device (8) .
WARNING! To avoid the risk of electric shock, this device must be connected only to a
Supply Main with protective earth.
