The front flap lifts out of the way to gain
access to switches and a small pocket is
provided to hold a check source. For the
protection of the user, we recommend that
you use a .1 microcurie Cesium 137 check
source shielded on both sides. Gamma
shields for this source are available through
your distributor.
The reinforced protective probe
cover prevents damage to the
fragile window of the detector.
