1.3 Electricity and risk of electric shock
WARNING: Maintenance and repair work on the electrical components and any replacement of the power cord may only be carried out by a
qualified electrician.
WARNING The SPA is fitted with an RCD (residual current device or ground fault circuit interrupter) on the end of the power cable. The RCD
must be tested each time before using the SPA. Do not use the SPA if the RCD is not working properly. Unplug the power cable until the fault
has been identified and rectified. Contact a qualified electrician to correct the fault. Do not bypass or open the RCD. The RCD must be easily
accessible and visible; it must be positioned at least 1.5 m away from the SPA.
WARNING The SPA must not be connected via an external switching device such as a timer switch or to an external power circuit that is
switched on and off at certain times by a power supply.
WARNING The power supply must be in accordance with the product specifications. Do not switch on the device if the power supply does not
comply with the specified regulations! You can obtain further information from your local qualified electrician. The power supply circuit must
be protected with a residual current device (GFCI or RCD) with a maximum residual current rating of 30 mA.
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. If the SPA is placed at a distance of less than 1.5 m from metal surfaces, then each of these me
tal surfaces must be connected to a solid copper wire (at least 1mm2) with the grounding terminals located at the bottom
of the powerbox.
WARNING Risk of electric shock. Do not use any extension cables to connect to the power supply.
WARNING Risk of electric shock. Install the SPA at least 1.5 m away from all metallic surfaces. Metal parts must be permanently connected to
the earth connection by means of a solid copper wire.

If a filter cartridge is defective or missing, long hair or body parts can be sucked into the supply pipe, which can lead to serious accidents.
Children are particularly vulnerable to injuries and must be protected from the hazards. Prevent the risk of injuries by observing the following
rules:
- Never operate the SPA if the filter cartridge is defective or not attached.
- A defective filter cartridge must be replaced immediately. Make sure that when parts are replaced, only original part are used
