8. Accessories

The GROOVER 500-LP can be equipped with a tungsten carbide or PCD cutter blade. Only perforated,
original Leister cutter blades may be used.

9. GROOVER 500-LP warning and error messages

Battery level:

The indicator goes off after five seconds. If any of the LED lights are flashing, it means that the battery needs
charging. If no LED lights illuminate when you press the button, it means that the battery is defective and has to
be replaced.
ATTENTION
If the display flashes after you insert the battery into the charger, either the battery or the charger is
faulty.
Display flashes slowly and backlight is orange.
The battery is too hot or too cold. The charging operation will commence as soon as the battery has
reached the charging temperature (0°C–50°C).
Display flashes quickly and backlight is red.
Remove the battery from the charger and then reinsert it. If the display remains the same, the battery is
defective. Replace the battery or have it checked by a specialist.
If this error is still indicated when you insert a different battery, it means that the charger is defective.
Have the charger checked by a specialist.
