Clean the base (1) and the lid (3) with a soft, damp cloth.For cleaning, use washing up
liquid but no solvent.
For reasons of hygiene, clean the glass oven dish (3) and the accessories (4, 5, 6) after
each use (see sections on cleaning appliance before fi rst use and the self-cleaning func-
tion).

Storing the appliance

Risk of fi re from hot componentsAlways allow the appliance to
cool down thoroughly, before cleaning.
The appliance and the accessories must be fully cooled down before the appliance and
the accessories are put away for storage.
Leave the appliance and accessories to dry out thoroughl.
Store the appliance in a dry and clean location.

Self-cleaning function

The appliance features a self-cleaning function. Use this function to clean the glass oven dish
(2).
Setting the self-cleaning function.
Improper cleaning may damage the appliance.
Leave the glass oven dish to cool down before fi lling with cold
water. Too great a temperature difference can cause the glass to
crack

Stubborn stains can be removed with a washing-up brush.
The food grids can stay in the glass oven dish during the self-cleaning process.

Pour out food and grease.

Fill the glass oven dish (2) with approx.
15 cm of cold water and add a drop of
washing-up liquid
3.
Place the lid (3 )on the glass oven dish.
4.
Connect to the mains supply.
5.
Turn the temperature-control dial (10)
to the Wash position.
6.
Set the time-setting dial (8) to the se-
lected length of time.
