and keep them in a safe place. If the appliance is passed on to another person,

– Defrosting, cooking, steaming and baking food.
The appliance is intended for private, non-commercial use.The appliance is to be used only as
described in the instructions.All other use is considered as not for intended purpose.

Basic safety advice
– Children are not aware of the dangers associated with improper use of electrical appli-
ances.Therefore, never allow children to use the appliance unsupervised or to play with
it.
– All persons who, through physical or mental incapacity or lack of experience, are unfi t to
use the appliance, must:
– only use the appliance under adult supervision or
– familiarize themselves with the appliance beforehand.
– never leave the appliance in use unattended.
Risk of fi re
– Do not use the appliance near combustible or highly-infl ammable materials.
– Ensure that food does not come into contact with the heating element in the lid. In the
event of fi re, remove the mains plug and cover the appliance with a fi reproof blanket or
damp towels. The appliance should not be used and should be disposed of.
– Remove the plug from the mains before removing the lid.
– Place the hot lid on a level, heat-resistant surface.
– Do not place combustible material such as cardboard, paper or plastic in the appliance.
– To prevent a risk of fi re, disconnect the appliance from the mains when not in use.
