check for any damage.
-
Proper maintenance is essential to maintain the original
good working order and safety of the machine over
time.
Keep nuts and screws tightened, to make sure the
-
machine is always in safe working conditions.
-
Never use the machine with worn or damaged parts.
Damaged parts must always be replaced and never
repaired.
Only use original spare parts. Parts that are not of the
-
same quality could damage the machine and harm
safety.
WARNING! During maintenance operations, remove the
battery from its housing.
8.1 COOLING THE MOTOR
To avoid overheating and damaging the motor, the cooling air
intake grilles must always be kept clean and free from leaves
and debris.
8.2 BLADE MAINTENANCE AND SHARPENING
WARNING! Regularly check that the blades are not bent
or damaged and that the fixed blade comb is intact.
Adjusting the distance between the blades is not necessary, as
the clearance is preset at the factory.
The blades, if used in accordance with the instructions, do not
require any maintenance or sharpening.
Sharpening is only necessary when the cutting performance
decreases and the branches tend to stick together often.
IMPORTANT: If required, each intervention on the blade must
be carried out at a specialized Center, which has the most
suitable equipment and is capable of performing the necessary
operations without compromising the safety of the machine.
8.3 MANAGING THE BATTERY
1.
The battery must be stored in environments with
temperatures between 0° and +45°C. If storing the
machine in places where these limits could be exceeded,
remove the battery and store it in a suitable place.
2.
During use, the battery is protected against total discharge
by a protective device that switches off the machine and
stops its operation.
3.
The battery comes with a protective device that prevents
recharging if the ambient temperature is not between 0°
and +45°C.
4.
The battery can be recharged at any time, even partially,
without the risk of damaging it.
8.4 STORAGE
At the end of each work session, thoroughly clean the machine of
dust and debris, repair or replace defective parts.
The machine must be stored in a dry place, protected from bad
weather and out of reach of children.

9. SPECIAL MAINTENANCE

Each maintenance operation not included in this manual must be
carried out exclusively by an Authorized Service Center.
Operations performed at unauthorized centers or by unqualified
persons will void all forms of warranty.
