The display will show:
TIME = 0
use the number keys to key in the duration
of the workout in minutes (e.g. 15) and then
press ENTER.
The equipment emits a beep and the
workout begins.
The columns on the alphanumeric display
show the effort level in proportionate terms
with LEDs. They light up one after the other
until they cover the entire amount of time
set. The flashing column represents the
current level.
The index corresponding to the effort level
and the indicator light for the MANUAL
function are lit.
At any time you can:
-
adjust the effort level with the
corresponding keys;
-
interrupt the workout for a pause with the
STOP or CLEAR key;
-
end the workout by pressing the STOP
key twice.
If you pause, after pressing STOP or CLEAR,
and then press the QUICK START key, the
workout resumes. If you press STOP again,
the workout ends and the equipment returns
to Standby. The equipment guides the user
with the following two messages:
STOP: END
QUICK START: RESTART
At the end of the workout, the ENTER key
lets you increase the remaining workout time
in increments of 1 minute for each time you
press the key (if the ENTER key has been
configured accordingly: see section 3.2).
At the end of the workout, the equipment
switches to the cooling down mode. This is
when you can insert the Smartkey* to save
the results.
If you have used the heart rate meter (heart
sensor or chest band) during the workout for
at least 3 minutes, the Performance Index
(P.I. see section 3.10) will appear on the
display at the end of the workout:
