Always hand wash as described above and dry thoroughly. Any other
maintenance of the appliance should be performed by an authorized
service representative.
• The oil tray should be emptied and cleaned frequently. It is located on
the back of the appliance. (Fig. 20)
Your appliance is equipped with a long lasting odor less charcoal filter.
For efficient anti-odor filtration, change your filter at least every 20 uses.
To change your charcoal filter:
• Allow your fryer to cool down completely.
• Remove the filter cover and responsibly dispose of the used filter. (Fig. 21)
• Remove the new filter from the packaging.
• Place the new filter in the filter holder.
• Return the filter cover in place.
To change your aluminum filter:
It is recommended to wash the aluminum filter in a diswasher.
• Allow your fryer to cool down completely.
• Remove the fryer's lid by opening it and pulling upwards.
• Locate the filter holder under the lid and remove it by pulling it upwards.
• Responsibly dispose of the used filter and replace it with the new filter.

• Put the filter holder back into the fryer and put the lid back on.
CAUTION: Over-tightening can result in stripping of screws or nuts or
cracking of handle or feet.
RESET FUNCTION
• Your appliance is equipped with an overheating safety
feature located below the mechanical assembly.
• If you use your fryer with an empty oil tank the safety
cut-off is activated, and the appliance will shut off
automatically.
• If this situation occurs, unplug the appliance and let it
cool down (about 10 minutes).
• Then press the safety cut-off RESET button with a toothpick or a similar
nonmetallic object. (Fig.23)
