Safety bar instalment
4.1 Switch inserts A and B are fixed on the bottom of Outlet and
Inlet chutes can be easily damaged by external forces. Take extra
care during assembly or taking them in and out. The interlocking
switches are for safety purpose and the machine will not work if
switch insert is not inserted when Inlet or Outlet chute is not closed
properly.
4.2 Safety switch (28) is a manual reset switch which is fixed under
the Inlet chute. In any case of emergency, press safety bar (18)
and the engine will stop automatically. Remember to pull button D
outside while restarting the machine otherwise the machine will not
start.
Important
When the chipper shredder is stopped using the safety
bar, please pull out a pin on the switch shown below to
start the chipper shredder. The chipper shredder will not
start if the pin is not pulled out.
4.3 The anti-tilt switch (28) must be attached when the machine is
in use.

Operation

Before operating the machine, please read and follow all safety
instructions and perform all operation checks mentioned in this
manual. (Ensure inlet chute is free of any debris from previous use)
For your safety, do not operate the engine in an enclosed area such
as a garage. Your engine's exhaust contains poisonous carbon
monoxide gas that can collect rapidly in an enclosed area and
cause illness or death.

Starting the Machine

1.
Move the fuel lever to the ON position.

To start a cold engine, move the choke lever to the CLOSED
position.
(Keep choke lever on open position for warm engine)
3.
Move the throttle lever away from the MIN. position, about 1/3
of the way towards the MAX. position.
4.
Turn the engine switch to the ON position.
5.
Pull the starter grip lightly until you feel resistance, then pull
briskly in the direction of the arrow as shown below. Return the
starter grip gently.
(Do not allow the starter grip to snap back against the engine.
Return it gently to prevent damage to the starter.)
6.
If the choke lever has been moved to the CLOSED position to
