DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTIONS

The Power Station PS-300 is a modern, microprocessor-controlled device, which was developed for mobile power
supply. You may use it to operate both 230 V AC and 12V DC consumers. Of course, the Power Station PS-300 is
equipped with all necessary safety features corresponding to a state-of-the art product.
The Power Station PS-300 comprises the following features:
• Real 230 V AC 50 Hz sinus output voltage
• High efficiency
• Robust, high-quality housing
• Deep discharge protection for 230 V AC and 12 V DC output
• Early warning of under-voltage on LED display
• Overload cut-off device
• Short-circuit shutdown feature for 230 V AC and 12 V DC output
• Temperature-activated protective circuit
• Soft start function

CONNECTION AND OPERATION

In order to guarantee appropriate operation, please read these operating instructions including safety information
completely and carefully before use. Check the device before every start on possible damages. In case of damages,
do not start operation but contact an authorized expert or our service. Always provide the Power Station PS-300
with proper ventilation.
Charge the battery completely with the supplied charger before initial start.
Always switch off the device, if you are not using it, to prevent the battery from unnecessary load.
The operating time of the battery may vary strongly, depending on the consumers being operated. The operating time
with completely charged battery is approx. 30 minutes at 300 W (230 V AC output) or approx. 85 minutes at 10 A (12 V DC
output). If you use consumers with lower performance, the operating time will prolong accordingly. If you use consumers
at both outputs, shorter operating time may be expected accordingly.
Check the voltage requirements of the consumers to be connected. Connect only consumers whose performances
correspond to those of the Power Station PS-300. Do not connect defect or damaged consumers. Connect the consumer
to the Power Station PS-300. First, connect the Power Station PS-300, then the connected consumer.
Both Power Station PS-300 outputs (12 V DC and 230 V AC) may be used simultaneously!

CHARGING THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY

For charging the internal battery, use the supplied accessories only. Ensure proper ventilation also during the charging
process. Do not charge the battery of the Power Station PS-300 in the presence of an ignition source or open fire.
Explosion hazard!
You have two possibilities to charge the internal battery of the Power Station PS-300:
Using the battery charger:
• Check the charging status of the battery.
• Connect the connector of the charger with the matching charging socket on the side of the Power Station PS-300.
• Connect the charger to the power supply network.
Using the 12 V charging adapter:
• Connect the plug of the charging adapter with the matching charging socket on the side of the Power Station PS-300.
• Connect the 12 V charging adapter to a 12 V DC power supply network.
Charging the battery in your car requires that the engine is running, as otherwise, your starter battery
may be discharged.
Charge the battery completely before initial operation. The charge time using the battery charger is approx. 13-15 hours.
The charge time using the 12 V charging adapter is approx. 12 hours. This data refers to a complete battery charging
process.
