Never use both the battery charger and the 12 V charging adapter simultaneously for charging! Do
not operate the Power Station PS-300 during the charging process. This may possibly cause excessive
permissible charging current and may damage your device.

MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR

The Power Station PS-300 is equipped with a high-quality 12 V, 20 Ah AGM rechargeable battery. This rechargeable
battery is very reliable and powerful. To keep these properties for the longest time, it is strictly necessary to observe
the following recommendations:
• Charge your battery completely before initial operation.
• Recharge your battery after every use.
• Charge your battery even if it has not been discharged completely or you do not have sufficient time
to recharge the battery completely. This is no problem for the battery as it has no memory effect.
• Always switch off the device if you don't use it to prevent the battery from unnecessary load.
• Recharge the battery completely if it has not been used or you want to store it for a longer time.
• Recharge the battery in regular intervals if you store it, however, in intervals of 3 months the latest.
• Store it in a dry, cool and well ventilated place.
• Do not connect the battery again to the charger if it is fully charged!
LED-DISPLAY
The LED display informs you continuously about the power availability and the operating condition of your Power Station
PS-300.
Operating condition
Battery full, device is ready for use
Battery partly discharged, early cut-off with the
same output
Early cut-off due to deep discharge protection
Cut-off due to deep discharge protection
Cut-off due to overload at output
If the 12 V DC output is cut off due to overload, LED 7 continues to display the actual battery status.

If the 230 V AC output is cut off due to overload, the device restarts automatically.
PROTECTIVE SWITCHING
Both outputs of the Power Station PS-300 (230 V AC and 12 V DC) are protected against overload
independently of each other.
The integrated voltage transformer is equipped with an automatic overload cut-off device to operate 230 V AC
consumers. Should the overload cut-off be activated, disconnect the connected consumer from the 230 V AC output
and now the Power Station PS-300 attempts to restart. Then you may reconnect the consumer. If the overload cut-off
is activated again, repeat the procedure described before and check whether the consumer may have caused the
failure. In this case do not try to reconnect the Power Station PS-300.
For operating 12 V DC consumers, the Power Station PS-300 is equipped with a fuse (T10AH) which may be accessed from
outside. Should this fuse be activated, disconnect the connected consumer from the 12 V DC output and replace the fuse.
If it is necessary to replace a fuse, ensure that the fuse is replaced by one with indicated type und rated
current (see technical specifications) only. It is not permissible to repair fuses or by-pass the fuse holder.
In addition, the voltage transformer is equipped with a temperature fuse. If excessive temperatures are generated in the
inside of the Power Station, the device is switched off. In this case, let the Power Station PS-300 cool down. Then the
device may be started again without any problems.
