Step 3:
Installation of the pedal supports (31) and connecting tubes (38).
1. Place the Hand grip axle (58) in the holder of handlebar support (49).
2. Push the bottom end of connection tube right (38R) into holder of pedal
support right (31R) and adjust the holes in the tubes so that they are
aligned. (Note: Right is specified as viewed standing on the machine
during training.)
3. Push the bolt (29) through the holes of pedal support (31R) and distance
tube (34) of connection tube (38R) and tighten with washer (32) and nut
(26) firmly. (This connection point has to move easily. So please don't
tighten the screw too much.)
4. Push the connecting tube (38R) onto the axles' end of handlebar support
(58) and the pedal support holder (19) onto the pedal crank (11) at the
same time. Put on the screw (14) a washer 8//32 (36) and spring washer
(8) and tighten the connection tube (38R) at hand grip axle (58) firmly.
Then tighten the pedal support holder (19) at pedal crank (11) with screw
(14), washer 8//25 (15) and spring washer (8).
5. Install the left pedal support left (31L) and connection tube (38R) incl.
all additionally required parts on the left hand side of the machine as
described in step 2-4.
6. Mount front pedal support cover (28L+28R) to both
side front ends of pedal supports (31L+31R) and
secure with screws (27) each side.
7. Cover nut (21) and head of screw (18) with screw
cap (17).
8. Turn the assembled unit at pedal crank slowly for 2-3
rotations and tighten now the screw connection of
handlebar support of Step 2 firmly. Push down the
handlebar support cover (51) to cover up the screw
connection.
Step 4:
Installation of pedals (23) at pedal supports (31).
1. Push the pedals (23L+23R) onto the pedal holders (31L+31R). Adjust
the holes in the parts so that they are aligned.
2. Push the screws (22) from above through the holes. Push on a washer
(77) from the opposite side and screw on a hand grip nut (25) and tighten
firmly. (Note: The right and left footrests (23) can be discerned by the
edges of the longitudinal sides of the footrests. The high edges of the
footrests (23) must point inwards (towards the main frame. The position
adjusted in this way should always be equal at both sides. The positions
can be changed as desired at all times by removing the carriage bolts
(22) and sliding the footrests on the footrest brackets to get a more or
less flat movement.)
