Adjusting the pressure plate

You will recognise that the cutting system
has become worn when the shredding
material is only compressed, and comes
out in long chains.
The running-in process may require that
you initially readjust the pressure plate in
short intervals.
1. Switch on the equipment.

clockwise until you hear scraping
noises. Small aluminium shavings will
come out of the ejection chute.
Avoid unnecessary wear on the
pressure plate by not over-adjust-
ing.
