- This device is suitable for personal home use.
- This device must only be used for the purpose described in this notice.
- This device must only be used in an ambient temperature range
between 10°C and 40°C / 50°F and 104°F.
- This device must always be stored in a clean, dry area.
- Do not expose this device to electric shock.
- Do not expose this device to extreme temperatures T° > 50°C / 122°F -
T° < -20°C / -4°F.
- Do not use this device in relative humidity greater than 85%.
- Do not expose this device to direct sunlight or water.
- Do not use this device outside.
- Never drop the device. A shock may damage it.
- Do not attempt to service this device yourself.
- Do not attempt to open the device. In case of problems, contact the
after sales service department.
- Do not leave this device within reach of children.
- This electronic medical device requires specific precautions regarding
electromagnetic compatibility. It must be installed and commissioned
in accordance with the electromagnetic information provided in the
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) Data table (page 116).
- Measurements may be impaired if used near a TV, microwave oven,
mobile phone or other devices with an electric field.

II. INTRODUCTION
The THERMOFLASH® LX-26 EVOLUTION is a revolutionary electronic
medical infrared thermometer, equipped with the all-new automatic
calibration technology MicroSecondFlash™ developed by Visiomed®.
Easy to use, it measures the body temperature at a distance of 2 to 5 cm
(0.79 to 1.97 in), in less than one second. ThermoFlash® is an infrared
thermometer specially designed to take the body temperature of
children or adults without contact with the body. It can be used at home
or by health professionals.
However, it is imperative to use the ThermoFlash® appropriately in
order to obtain a reliable and stable result. It is therefore advisable
to read the instruction manual and safety instructions before use.

III. PRECAUTIONS BEFORE USE
The THERMOFLASH® LX-26 EVOLUTION is preset at the factory. It is not
necessary to calibrate the device when starting it up.
In order to obtain a reliable and stable result, it is advisable at every
change of environment, with significant ambient temperature
difference, to leave the THERMOFLASH® LX-26 EVOLUTION at this
ambient temperature for 15 to 20 minutes before using it. Before
any new temperature measurement, wait for the screen to turn off.
It is important to respect a minimum of 3 minutes between each
temperature measure.
- Clean the glass with a cotton swab slightly soaked in 70° alcohol.
- Do not put the thermometer in contact with diseased, ulcerated or
wounded skin.
- Do not drink hot or cold drinks, and do not do strenuous exercise
