To operate the base from a smart device, the Serta® Remote application must be downloaded to the
desired smart device from the App Store (Apple) or Google Play Store (Android).
STEP 1
Unplug the base from power source (a surge protector is
recommended) . Wait 30 seconds and plug back in .
STEP 2
Enable Bluetooth
on your smart device .
®
The Bluetooth
adapter will blink blue for 3 minutes . During
®
this time the base is discoverable by any Bluetooth®
compatible device. Once connected, the light will turn off
after 3 minutes as to not disturb the user while sleeping . The
device will still be connected even if the light is off.
STEP 3
Open application . Select Bluetooth
STEP 4
Select Menu icon .

Select Settings from Menu screen .
STEP 6
Tap Select device .
STEP 7
Select desired base . Tap back arrow to return to settings and
select Remote to return to remote control screen*
*See page 10 for remote instructions .
NOTES:
•
If operating multiple bases: the Unique ID number will be listed on the
sticker located on the adapter
•
Press and hold RESET for 5 seconds to reset customized presets back
to factory default settings .
•
To disconnect: Turn off the Bluetooth
"Forget this Device" from your Bluetooth
