Patient Specific Adjustments

Foot End Interface

If necessary, heel area pressure can be reduced by disconnecting a foot end cushion corresponding to the
patients heel. It is not recommended that more than one cushion be disconnected at a time.
1. Locate the cushion corresponding to the patients heel.
2. The cushions are connected to the air supply at the side opposite the air supply hose.
3. Disconnect the cushion by depressing the grey latch and pulling the connector out.
4. Cushions are reconnected by pushing the connector back into the socket.

Pulsation Adjustment

If necessary, pulsation therapy may be activated.
1. Press pulsation on the Home screen to call up the Pulsation screen.
2. Select the required pulsation intensity.
3. Select the required pulsation cycle time.
4. Perform a hand check to verify sufficient support:
Slide your hand flat between the mattress foam base and the cushions to verify a 2.5 cm
to 4 cm clearance.

Warming Adjustment

If necessary warming may be used to increase patient comfort.
1. Press warming on the Home screen to call up the Warming screen.
