GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINE

This robot, from now on referred
to as the machine, is designed
and made for the automatic
cleaning (suction and wiping) of
household floors.
The machine is compact, small
and easily portable. It is also ex-
tremely silent in use. It moves au-
tomatically according
random movement program,
and does not follow any specific
directions.
Periodically and at random the
machines switches to a spiral
motion that is very efficient in
cleaning obstacle-free areas.
The machine is equipped with a
keyboard and display to permit
quick and easy programming of
cleaning parameters (see "Pro-
gramming the machine").
The machine is sold in two mod-
els to suit different cleaning re-
quirements.
Basic: with suction and wipe
cleaning, but without stair and
carpet sensors.
Full: with suction and wipe clean-
ing, and with stair and carpet
sensors.

how the machine performs
cleaning movements.
