FURTHER RECOMMENDATIONS
PRACTICAL INFORMATION ON USING COFFEE
The appliance you have purchased is designed for using two types of coffee:
- pod
COFFEE POD:
Those commonly on sale comply with an international industrial standard referring to the E.S.E. system for preparing a quality
espresso coffee. This trademark is usually present on the coffee packets of the industries belonging to that system, but not necessa-
rily on those of coffee producers who do not.
The use of coffee pods offers many advantages: the freedom to choose from among the many brands on the market, a constantly
good espresso irrespective of the experience of whoever is making it, extremely easy to use and lastly, less maintenance because the
appliance remains constantly clean.
The pod normally to be found on sale is for one cup and should be inserted in the one-cup filter holder.
GROUND COFFEE:
For best results, use ground coffee for bar use, which has a well-defined coarseness of grinding. Give this grinding indication to
your coffee roaster or shop when asking for your favourite blend.
