12.2 Repair

The repair of the device should only be carried out by HEBUmedical
Do not open the device housing. The HBS Argon does not contain any user-replaceable parts. The
system may only be repaired by a qualified service engineer, who is specially trained to repair the
HBS Argon.
Interventions of other persons can lead to cancellation of the guarantee and pose a risk for health.

12.3 Fuses

The fuses are located on the back of the device in socket (6), where the mains cable is connected.
The fuses must be replaced as follows:

Use a small screwdriver to remove the fuse holder.
•
Replace defective fuses with the type described in chapter 5.
•
Put the fuse holder back in place.
After the exchange of the fuses, the device must be checked by qualified personnel.

12.4 Transport

Prevent mechanical damage and moisture.
If the unit has been stored for a long period in a cold environment, wait before removing the protective
packaging until the unit has reached room temperature.
During transportation, the standard safety measures additionally apply.
Only ever transport the unit in its original packaging.

12.5 Environmental directives

From the implementation date of the European directive 2002/96/EU as
national legislation, the following regulations apply:

Electrical and electronic units must not be disposed of with normal
household waste.
◼
The consumer is required by law to return electrical and electronic devices
at the end of their service life to designated public collection points or to the
place of purchase.
Disposal details are set out by the applicable local legislation in the relevant
country. The symbol on the product, the instructions for use or the packaging
indicates the relevant applicable legislation. By sending end-of-life devices for
reuse, material recycling or other forms of utilization, you are making a major
contribution to environmental protection.
Please also send the unit packaging for environmentally responsible recycling
after the end of the product's life.
