Microprocessor tracking of the Safety functions
In order to minimize the risks of high- frequency electrosurgery, the system is equipped with a number
of safety functions. The microprocessor control and the sensor technology of the system allow the
implementation of a number of monitoring functions. The functional states, as well as the states of the
interference in the generator are signalized visually and tonally, whereat in case of necessity the HF –
current is switched off immediately.
The HBS Argon has an automatic, self-diagnostic control.
Monitoring of the incorrect dose
By following the output energy and power, the HBS Argon module always makes a comparison of the
acceptable voltage limits and of the values selected on the control panel. If unacceptable deviations
are reached, the emitted high-frequency energy is interrupted and an error message is issued.
Protection against wrong settings of the system
The HBS Argon offers:

highly sensitive virtual buttons; clear, easy-to-understand symbols for selecting the operating
mode and setting the output power.
