Knitteroptik. Diese ist nur am ungetragenen Produkt,
nicht aber im getragenen Zustand zu sehen. Aufgrund der
speziellen Färbetechnik sind diese Kompressionsprodukte
in ungetragenem Zustand etwas länger als Produkte ohne
Batik-Design. Dies hat jedoch keinen Einfluss auf die Pass-
genauigkeit und medizinische Wirksamkeit.

Intended purpose

Compression therapy involves measures to apply extensive,
external pressure to treat vein problems and lymph drainage
disorders. The aim of the extensive pressure is to prevent the
formation of oedema and to support venous return and lymph
drainage. Compression therapy is primarily used to treat vein
problems and oedema. It involves the use of compressive
and elastic double-stretch fabrics or knitted fabrics that wrap
right round the extremities. As a general rule, compression
therapy is a long-term treatment requiring appropriate
products that are used by the patients themselves when
medically indicated and on the instructions of a doctor.
Notes for application
Your specialist dealer or therapist will show you how to use
it correctly. You can also visit juzo.com/donning for
video instructions relating to all Juzo donning aids. Put on
your compression garments in the morning straight after you
get out of bed. Rough, unfiled finger nails or sharp-edged
rings etc. may damage the very fine knitted fabric. We
therefore recommend the use of Juzo special gloves. In
order to increase the wearing comfort of your compression
garments, you can hoist the silicone border a little (if there is
one) a number of times during wearing.
Compression glove
1. Slide your hand right into the garment.
2. If the product fits correctly, there should be no creases or
gaps between the fingers.
Compression finger supports
Pull the garment over your finger. If the product fits correct-
ly, there should be no creases.
Please note
Only wear compression garments if they have been
prescribed by a doctor. Compression garments should only
be dispensed by properly trained staff at a medical retailer.
Your Juzo compression garments are largely resistant to
oils, ointments, skin moisture and other environmental influ-
ences. The durability of the knitted fabric may be affected by
certain combinations of the above. This is why it is advisable
to have your compression garments checked regularly at a
medical retailer. Please contact your specialist retailer in the
event of damage. Do not repair the product yourself – this
may affect its quality and medical effectiveness. For hygiene
reasons, this product is intended for one person only. The
sewn-in textile label (if present) is important for the identifi-
cation and traceability of the product. We therefore ask you
not to remove the label under any circumstances.
Washing and care instructions
Please note the care instructions on the textile label sewn
into your compression garment or the printed information.
Do up any fasteners (if there are any) before washing! We
recommend turning compression garments inside out before
washing. Wash compression garments separately when
washing for the first time (they may lose colour). If possible,
your compression garments should be washed every day
on a gentle or delicate wash cycle (40°C). Tip: a laundry net
provides additional protection for the knitted fabric. Please
do not use fabric softener! When hand washing, rinse well
and do not wring. We recommend the gentle Juzo special
detergent. You can reduce drying time by placing the
compression garment on a thick towel after washing, tightly
rolling the towel up and firmly pressing out excess moisture.
Then hang up the compression garment loosely. Do not leave
the product in the towel and do not dry it on a radiator or in
the sun. Please use the delicates setting when drying in a
tumble dryer (suitable for tumble-drying: see textile label).
Juzo compression garments are not suitable for dry cleaning.
Material composition
For precise details, please see the textile label sewn into your
compression garment or the printed information on the fabric.
Storage information and shelf life
Store in a dry place and protect from sunlight. Standard
products have a maximum shelf life of 36 months. The
