This is a safety function to cut off the public address system in the event of an emergency or for putting the system automatically on standby, when connected to a timer (power- saving mode with consumption lower than 2 W in standby mode).

Setting procedure 5.1 Output level setting 1- Set the Left and Right potentiometers on the front panel to the maximum position to take full advantage of the amplifier's dynamic range. This control can be used when the sound level is intentionally limited by the installer.

Applications 6.1 Public address system in a shop For a public address system in a shop, you can use Flex Power at 100V; you will then have a stereo or double mono power of 2x120W. 2120 You can then add one or more bass reinforcement devices to create a more sustained ambience in all or part of the area.

You can use output 2 to add a (remote controlled) Focal iCub system with two Sib enclosures to create a more sustained ambience in the bar area. You can control the sound level in each restaurant area via two remote control interfaces (VCA).
  • Page 24 6.3 Public address system in a bar To equip a theme bar, you can use Flex Power in Stereo 2x120W mode. You can use output 2 to add a Focal iCub system with two Sib 2120 enclosures to create a more sustained ambience in the bar area. You can control the sound level via a control interface (VCA). You can con- nect several audio sources and a microphone to organise song events like such as karaoke (microphone configured on input 1 with modula- tion detection).
