Kontraindikationen
Bei folgenden Krankheitsbildern sollte die Orthese nur
in Absprache mit dem Arzt getragen werden:
Lymphabflussstörungen, arterielle Durchblutungsstö-
rungen, postthrombotische Zustände, Hauterkran-
kungen oder Hautirritationen; Offene Wunden im
versorgten Körperabschnitt sind steril abzudecken.
Bei Nichtbeachtung der Kontraindikationen kann von
der Unternehmensgruppe der Julius Zorn GmbH keine
Haftung übernommen werden.
Nebenwirkungen
Bei sachgemäßer Anwendung sind keine Neben-
wirkungen bekannt. Sollten dennoch negative
Veränderungen (z. B. Hautirritationen) während der
verordneten Anwendung auftreten, so wenden Sie
sich bitte umgehend an Ihren Arzt oder medizinischen
Fachhandel. Sollte eine Unverträglichkeit gegen einen
oder mehrere Inhaltsstoffen dieses Produktes bekannt
sein, halten Sie bitte vor Gebrauch Rücksprache mit
Ihrem Arzt. Sollten sich Ihre Beschwerden während
der Tragezeit verschlechtern, ziehen Sie die Orthese
aus und suchen Sie bitte umgehend ärztliches Fach-
personal auf. Der Hersteller haftet nicht für Schäden
/ Verletzungen, die aufgrund unsachgemäßer Handha-
bung oder Zweckentfremdung entstanden sind.
Im Falle von Reklamationen im Zusammenhang mit
dem Produkt, wie beispielsweise Beschädigungen des
Materials oder Mängel in der Passform, wenden Sie
sich bitte direkt an Ihren medizinischen Fachhändler.
Nur schwerwiegende Vorkommnisse, die zu einer we-
sentlichen Verschlechterung des Gesundheitszustan-
des oder zum Tod führen können, sind dem Hersteller
und der zuständigen Behörde des Mitgliedsstaates
zu melden. Schwerwiegende Vorkommnisse sind im
Artikel 2 Nr. 65 der Verordnung (EU) 2017/745 (MDR)
definiert.
Entsorgung
Ihre Orthese können Sie über den herkömmlichen
Entsorgungsweg vernichten. Es gibt keine besonderen
Kriterien zur Entsorgung.
Intended purpose
The JuzoPro Genu TT stabilises the knee joint using
two rigid, padded guidance splints that are joined
together with textile straps and a textile surface in
a way that allows for adaptability. These splints are
placed on the sides of the joint. With the JuzoPro Genu
TT, the degree of the extension and flexion movement,
i.e. how much the knee can be bent or extended, can
be adjusted.
How to put on your JuzoPro Genu TT correctly:
1. Open all the straps, followed by the length -
wise-oriented velcro fasteners on the front, then
fold open the orthosis. You should now point the
wide end, which covers the thigh, in your direction.
2. Position your leg within the orthosis so that the
hollow of your knee rests in the space between the
thigh and calf pads.
3. Fold the two wings of the orthosis around your leg.
The joint pads attached to the hinges of the orthosis
should now all be located at the same height,
and be centered to the left and right of your knee
joint. Ensure that the centers of the hinge pads are
aligned with the center of your patella.
4. Now close the padding-related, lengthwise-
oriented velcro fasteners located at the front.
5. Next close the straps by guiding their ends over
your leg, through the plastic buckles and back
again. Sequence: guide the first thigh strap over the
knee, then the first calf strap below the knee, next
the middle thigh strap followed by the middle calf
strap, then the uppermost thigh strap and finally the
lowermost calf strap.
The orthosis is seated correctly if it firmly encloses the
leg without exerting a too strong (painful) pressure
and your knee is able to move smoothly (provided your
knee does not need to be immobilised for medical
reasons).
You can readjust your orthosis any time by repeating
steps 4 and 5.
Please note:
Only wear your orthosis when prescribed by your
physician. Medical aids should only be dispensed by
suitably trained staff of a medical products supplier.
The effectiveness of the orthosis can only be realised
if it is applied correctly. The orthosis is largely
resistant to oils, ointments, skin moisture and other
environmental influences. Certain combinations may
negatively impact on the durability of the fabric. We
therefore recommend that it gets examined regularly
by the medical products supplier. Should the product
become damaged, please consult your specialist
supplier. Do not repair the orthosis yourself – this
could compromise its quality and medical efficacy.
For hygienic reasons, the orthosis is not suitable for
treating more than one patient.
