NOTICE
This operating manual belongs to the breathing connection.
Observe the corresponding operating manual for the helmet.
The breathing connection protects the face and eyes from hostile
media. Wearers of spectacles can use mask spectacles.
The breathing connection is fitted to the helmet using two mask / helmet
adapters. Usable over a temperature range of -30 °C to +60 °C.
The breathing connection has a plug-in connector. It may only be used
with approved positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus or
positive pressure hose breathing respirator.
Type identity markings
The breathing connections on the mask / helmet combinations are
marked differently:

with screen The breathing connection has an internal

Approvals
The mask / helmet combination conforms to DIN 58610.
The breathing connection conforms to EN 136 CL. 3 and carries the
CE mark.
The breathing connections are tested in accordance with 94/9/EC for
use in potentially explosive atmospheres and meet the following
protection classes:
