For your safety

Please read this operation manual before
using your charger for the first time and
follow the instructions it contains. Keep it
safe for future use or subsequent owners.
WARNING: It is vital that you read the
safety instructions before using your
charger for the first time. Failure to follow
the operation manual and safety instruc-
tions may damage the charger and result in
risks to the user and others. Inform your
Würth contact person immediately if the
charger has been damaged during
transport.

Safety instructions

Please note:
You must not make any changes to the
charger or to any additional devices.
Alterations of this kind may result in injuries
and malfunctions.
• Inspect the charger for damage before each use.
Pay particular attention to the power cable. If you
find any damage, do not use the charger.
• Repairs to the charger may only be carried out
by trained personnel or a Würth-authorised
workshop. This will ensure the continued safety of
the charger.
• Never open the device.
• Ensure that the charger is correctly connected as
described in this operation manual.
• Do not charge defective batteries.
• Ensure that the + and - terminals never come
into contact or get connected by a conductive
material.
• Exercise caution when handling batteries. Wear pro-
tective equipment to protect your hands and eyes.
• Do not cover the charger or expose it to direct sunlight.
• Never charge batteries near naked flames or
potential sources of sparks.
• The instructions of the battery manufacturer must
be observed.
• The charger can only be used to charge rechar-
geable lead-acid, AGM, EFB and LiFePO4
batteries.

• Do not leave the charger unattended while in use.
• This device can be used by children aged 8
years and above and persons with reduced phy-
sical, sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of
experience and knowledge if they are supervised
or have been instructed in how to use the device
safely and have understood the hazards associa-
ted with the device.
• Children must not play with the device.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be
carried out by children without supervision.
• If there is reason to believe that the charger can
no longer be used safely, if it appears to not
be functional, is visibly damaged, or has been
damaged during transport, it must be taken out
of service immediately and protected against
unintended use.
• The product must only be used for rechargeable
batteries.
• During charging, the battery must be placed in a
well ventilated area.
• Store the device in a covered and dry environ-
ment at storage temperatures of between 10°C
and 50°C.
• Use original Würth accessories and
spare parts only.
Protect the charger against damp and moisture.
The battery may emit explosive gases during
charging. Good ventilation must therefore be
ensured when charging batteries in enclosed
spaces.
Warning – Explosion hazard
Never use the charger in an explosive or
flammable atmosphere.
Warning – Corrosive
If battery acid gets on clothing, rinse imme-
diately with running water. If battery acid
comes into contact with the skin or eyes,
rinse carefully with running water and seek
medical attention.
Warning – Electrical voltage
Disconnect the device from the mains
before connecting or disconnecting the
battery terminals.
