Never short-circuit the booster cable clamps!

If it can be assumed that safe operation is no

longer possible, the device must be rendered
inoperable and secured against inadvertent
or unauthorised switching on. If the device
appears inoperable, if it is visibly damaged or
has been damaged during transport, assume
that device operation is no longer safe.
Reverse connection causes short circuit!
