SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

EMS and the distributor of this product accept no
liability for direct or consequential injury or damage
resulting from improper use, arising in particular
through non-observance of the operating instruc-
tions, or improper preparation and maintenance.
Contraindication: ultrasonic oscillations may
prevent cardiac pace makers and defibrillators from
functioning properly. Therefore, we recommend that
patients with a cardiac pace maker or a defibrillator
should not be treated with this product.
Use for the intended purpose only. Before
using the product, make sure the operating instruc-
tions have been carefully studied. This also applies
to any equipment used with this product. Failure
to observe the operating instructions may result in
the patient or user suffering serious injury or the
product being damaged.
Risk of explosion: do not use this product in
the presence of inflammable anaesthetics or gases.
No specific training other than initial profes-
sional training is required to use this medical device.
The practitioner is responsible for performing the
clinical treatments and for any dangers that may
arise due to a lack of skill and/or training.
Before each use, clean, disinfect and sterilize
the different pieces and accessories of this product.
Please refer to the information provided in the
operating instructions. Non-sterile pieces and
accessories may cause bacterial or viral infections.

EMS et le distributeur de ce produit ne peuvent être
tenus responsables d'éventuels préjudices directs
et indirects résultant d'un emploi inadéquat ou d'un
maniement incorrect, en particulier lorsque le mode
d'emploi n'a pas été respecté ou lorsque la préparation
et l'entretien n'ont pas été correctement effectués.
Contre-indication: le fonctionnement correct
des stimulateurs cardiaques et des défibrillateurs
peut être perturbé par les oscillations ultrasoniques
de haute fréquence. Nous vous conseillons de ne
pas traiter les patients porteurs de stimulateurs
cardiaques ou de défibrillateurs avec ce produit.
N'utilisez le produit que pour les applications
prévues. Ce mode d'emploi doit être soigneusement
étudié avant l'utilisation. Ceci est également valable
pour tous les équipements pouvant être utilisés en
combinaison avec ce produit. Vous éviterez les risques
de blessures et d'endommagement de votre produit.
Risque d'explosion: ne pas utiliser ce produit en
présence d'anesthésiques ou de gaz inflammables.
Aucune formation spécifique autre que la
formation professionnelle initiale n'est requise pour
utiliser ce dispositif médical. Le praticien est respon-
sable de l'exécution des traitements cliniques et des
dangers qui pourraient surgir à cause d'un manque
de compétence et/ou de formation.
Avant chaque utilisation, nettoyer, désin-
fecter et stériliser les différentes pièces et acces-
soires de ce produit. Respecter pour cela les
indications correspondantes du mode d'emploi.
Des pièces et accessoires non stérilisés peuvent
être à l'origine d'infections bactériennes ou virales.

direkte und Folgeschäden, die durch eine unsach-
gemäße Verwendung des Produkts auftreten, insbe-
sondere durch Nichtbeachtung der Bedienungsan-
leitung oder unsachgemäße Vorbereitung oder Wartung.
Kontraindikationen: Herzschrittmacher und
Defibrillatoren können durch Ultraschallschwingungen
in ihrer Funktion gestört werden. Daher empfehlen wir,
Patienten mit Herzschrittmachern oder Defibrillatoren
nicht mit diesem Produkt zu behandeln.
Nur für den vorgesehenen Verwendungs-
zweck einsetzen. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist vor
dem Einsatz des Geräts sorgfältig zu lesen und
zu verstehen. Dies gilt gleichermaßen für alle in
Kombination mit dem Gerät eingesetzten Produkte.
Eine Nichtbeachtung der Bedienungsanleitung kann
zu ernsthaften Verletzungen des Patienten oder
Bedieners oder zu Schäden am Produkt führen.
Explosionsgefahr: Verwenden Sie das
Produkt nicht in der Nähe von entzündlichen
Anästhetika oder Gasen.
Ausser der beruflichen Erstausbildung ist
keine weitere Schulung für die Verwendung dieses
medizinischen Geräts erforderlich. Der Zahnarzt trägt
die Verantwortung für die Durchführung klinischer
Behandlungen und für Gefahren, die durch unzurei-
chende Kenntnisse und/oder Ausbildung entstehen.
Die einzelnen Bestandteile des Geräts und das
Zubehör müssen vor jeder Verwendung gereinigt,
desinfiziert und sterilisiert werden. Beachten Sie
hierzu die Hinweise in der Bedienungsanleitung.
Nicht sterile Geräteteile und Zubehör können bakte-
rielle oder virale Infektionen auslösen.
