the stop mode) or the number of the current title (in
the replay mode and pause mode)
4 Button "STOP" to stop the replay

1st pressing of button:
2nd pressing of button: repeat of all titles of the CD
3rd pressing of button: switching off the repeat
7 Button "PLAY/PAUSE" for switching between replay
and pause
8 Button "F.SKIP" for selecting the next title
Button "B.SKIP" to go to the beginning of the current
title. By pressing the button several times, the unit
always goes back one title.
Keep the respective button pressed to activate the
fast forward ("F.SKIP")/reverse ("B.SKIP").
9 Button "OPEN/CLOSE" to open and close the CD
drawer.

2 Safety Notes

The CD player module corresponds to the directive
89/336/EEC for electromagnetic compatibility.
Caution! Never look into the CD compartment with
the CD drawer opened. Laser beams can be emitted
which may cause eye damage.
The module is suitable for indoor use only.
No guarantee claims for the unit and no liability for any
resulting personal damage or material damage will be
accepted if the module is used for other purposes than
originally intended, if it is not correctly operated or not
installed or repaired in an expert way.
If the module is to be put out of operation definitively,
take it to a local recycling plant for disposal which is
not harmful to the environment.

3 Applications

The CD player module M-10CD has been provided for
the installation into a basic unit (e. g. active system,
amplifier) and offers standard functions, e. g. continuous
repeat of the currently playing title or compilation of an
individual title sequence. It is possible to play audio CDs
and CDs which you have burnt yourself (audio CD-R).
The CD player must always be operated in a station-
ary way, i.e. during CD operation the basic unit with the
installed module must stand on a steady, immobile
ground and must not be exposed to heavy shocks and
vibrations.

4 Installation and Connection

The CD player module must only be installed by qual-
ified, specialized personnel!
The module must be installed into the basic unit in a
horizontal position.
1) Prior to the installation of the module, disconnect the
basic unit in any case from the 230 V mains.
2) A cutout of 152 mm x 67 mm is required for the oper-
ating panel at the basic unit (see fig. 1).
3) Connect the module on its rear side via the 5 colour-
coded cores. See the pin configuration in fig. 2.

4) Slide the operating panel of the module from the back
through the mounting opening and tightly mount the
module with four screws at the basic unit.
