This equipment is guaranteed against any defect in materials or faulty
manufacture, in compliance with general terms and conditions of sale.
During the warranty period (3 years), the unit can only be repaired by the
manufacturer and only the latter can decide if all or part of the equipment
should be repaired or exchanged. If equipment is returned to the
manufacturer, outward transport will be paid by the customer.
The warranty does not apply after the following:
•
Improper use of unit or using the latter with incompatible equipment
•
Modifying equipment without prior explicit authorisation from
manufacturer technical departments
•
Intervention by a person not approved by the manufacturer
•
Adapting for a particular application not planned by the equipment
definition or operating instructions
•
Shock, fall or flooding.
The contents of these instructions cannot be reproduced, in any way,
without prior manufacturer agreement.
Before opening the unit, you must first disconnect it from the power supply
and measuring circuits and make sure that it is not charged with static
electricity, which could destroy internal elements.
•
Any live equipment adjustment, maintenance or repairs must be
performed by qualified personnel, after reading these operating
instructions.
•
A "qualified person" is familiar with the installation, manufacture, use and
dangers involved. He/she has ben authorised to put in service and turn
off the installation and equipment, in compliance with safety regulations.
•
Return your instrument to your distributor for any work to be done within
or outside the guarantee.
All equipment has been mechanically and electrically checked before being
dispatched.
However, it is wise to check briefly that equipment was not damaged during
transport. If so, please contact our Marketing Department as soon as
possible and claim carrier legal reserve.
If the equipment is being sent back, please preferably use original
packaging and indicate as clearly as possible the reasons for sending it
back on a note enclosed with the equipment.
Turn instrument off. Clean it with a damp cloth and soap. Do not use
abrasive products or solvents. Leave to dry before using it again.
