6.2 Reproduction via headphones
Use a 3 .5 mm plug to connect headphones
(minimum impedance: 32 Ω) to the jack
HP (13) . Adjust the volume with the control
VOL (15) .
CAUTION Never adjust the headphones to
a very high volume . Permanent
high volumes may damage your
hearing! Your ear will get accus-
tomed to high volumes which do not seem
to be that high after some time . Therefore,
do not further increase a high volume after
getting used to it .
6.3 Pairing the turntable with a
Bluetooth receiver
The turntable can only be paired with audio
units which are also used for audio repro-
duction, e . g . active speakers and amplifiers
with Bluetooth receiver . Tablet PCs and mobile
phones will not detect the DJP-106BT .
1) Switch on the turntable with the POWER
switch (3) .
2) Activate the Bluetooth function on the
audio unit to be paired with the DJP-106BT .
3) On the turntable, keep the button BT (11)
pressed for one second so that the blue
LED (12) on the right of the button starts
flashing slowly . Thus, the Bluetooth func-
tion has been activated .
If the audio unit has already been
paired with the DJP-106BT before, the
LED will light continuously after a while .
Thus, the wireless transmission has been
established .
4) If the audio unit has never been paired
with the turntable before, keep the button
BT pressed once again for two seconds
so that the blue LED starts flashing rap-
idly . Once the Bluetooth pairing has been
made, the LED will light continuously .
5) Use the control VOL (15) to adjust the
volume for the Bluetooth transmission .
6) To unpair, if required, keep the button BT
pressed for approx . two seconds until the
blue LED is off or simply switch off the
turntable .
