Turntable with
Bluetooth Transmitter
These instructions are intended for users
without any specific technical knowledge .
Please read the instructions carefully prior to
operation and keep them for later reference .
All operating elements and connections
described can be found on the fold-out
page 3 .

2 Safety Notes

The units (turntable and power supply unit)
correspond to all relevant directives of the EU
and are therefore marked with
WARNING The power supply unit uses
dangerous mains voltage .
Leave servicing to skilled per-
sonnel only . Inexpert handling
or modification may result in
electric shock .
The units are suitable for indoor use only .
Protect them against dripping water, splash
water and high air humidity . The admissible
ambient temperature range is 0 – 40 °C .
Do not place any vessel filled with liquid on
the unit, e . g . a drinking glass .
Immediately disconnect the power supply
unit from the socket:

1 . if the turntable or the power supply unit
is visibly damaged,
2 . if a defect might have occurred after the
unit was dropped or suffered a similar
accident,
3 . if malfunctions occur .
In any case the units must be repaired by
skilled personnel .
No guarantee claims for the units and no
liability for any resulting personal damage
or material damage will be accepted if the
units are used for other purposes than
originally intended, if they are not correctly
connected or operated, or if they are not
repaired in an expert way .

3 Applications

The turntable DJP-106BT is designed for ver-
satile use . It is equipped with a phono pream-
plifier; therefore, it can be directly connected
to a line input . If an audio unit with Bluetooth
receiver is available, the transmission of audio
signals can also be made via wireless Blue-
tooth pairing .

4 Setting up and Assembling
the Turntable
After unpacking all parts of the turntable, it
is recommended to keep the original packing
material for any future transport . Place the
turntable on a flat, horizontal surface .
1) After each transport of the turntable,
check the correct position of the drive belt
on the drive axle:
a) Remove the rubber mat from the platter
b) Turn the platter so that the drive axle is

c) If the drive belt has slipped off (broken
d) Put the rubber mat on the platter .
2) If the cover is inconvenient during oper-
ation, it can be removed at any time: Pull
the cover so that its hinges are detached
from their supports (2) .
If the units are to be put out of oper-
ation definitively, take them to a local
recycling plant for a disposal which
is not harmful to the environment .

5 Connecting the Turntable
Before making or changing any connections,
switch off the turntable and the unit to be
connected .
1) Connect the cable (5) with RCA plugs to
a line input*, e . g . of an amplifier or mixer
(red plug for the right channel; white plug
for the left channel) .
Alternatively, pair the turntable with
a corresponding audio unit via Bluetooth
(chapter 6 .3) .
2) Connect the power supply unit provided
to the jack 12 V⎓ (4) and to a mains socket
(230 V/ 50 Hz) .
* input for units with line signal level, such as CD
player, tuner, tape deck; possibly marked Line, CD,
Tuner, AUX
6 Operation

6.1 Playing a record

1) Remove the protective cap from the stylus
by pulling it downwards .
2) Switch on the turntable with the POWER
switch (3) . The power LED (14) will light
up .
3) Use the button (10) to select the speed:

4) Put on the record . For single records, use
the adapter (1) .
5) Open the lock (7) for the tone arm to
the right . To lift the tone arm (8), set
the lever (6) for the tone arm to the rear
position .
6) Hold the handle (9) of the tone arm and
position the stylus above the beginning or
the desired spot of the record . The platter
starts rotating .
7) Set the lever (6) for lifting the tone arm to
the front position . The tone arm is slowly
lowered onto the record .
8) At the end of the record, the tone arm
will automatically return to its support . To
stop playing at any time, press the button
REJECT (16) .
To return the tone arm by hand, use
the lever to lift the tone arm, hold the han-
dle of the tone arm and put the tone arm
on its support .
9) After use, secure the tone arm with the
lock (7) and switch off the turntable with
the POWER switch (3) . Close the cover to
protect the turntable against dust .
If the turntable is not used for a longer
period of time, disconnect the power sup-
ply unit from the socket . The power supply
unit will still consume some power even
when the turntable has been switched off .
