Instructions for Use – Zero Gravity Balancers
INTRODUCTION
These Instructions for Use have been compiled for zero gravity balancers of the following type se-
ries: 7228, 7230/7231, 7235/7236, 7241, 7245, 7248, 7251, and 7261.
Whereas the basic design of these balancers is the same in all cases, each type series is designed
for a specific load range and a specific cable extension range. Accordingly, the balancer types dif-
fer in their dimensions. For details, please refer to the "Technical characteristics" section.
These Instructions for Use provide the information required both for installation of the zero gravity
balancers by adequately trained technical personnel and for their proper handling and use by spe-
cially instructed personnel.
As regards maintenance and repair work, special Service Instructions are available at our website

EC Declaration of Conformity
We hereby declare with sole responsibility that the zero gravity balancers have been developed,
designed and manufactured in compliance with the applicable EC Directive 2006/42/EC on ma-
chinery.
The following standards have been applied: DIN EN ISO 12100 and DIN 15112.

This EC Declaration of Conformity shall become invalid if the zero gravity balancers are rebuilt or
modified in any way.

WARRANTY
We warrant the zero gravity balancers to be free from defects in material for a period of 24 months,
starting on the date of delivery. This warranty excludes the consequences of normal wear and tear,
overload, improper use and use of non-original (third-party) spare parts.
Claims under this warranty can only be accepted if the product is handed over to us in undismantled
condition for examination. Any damage due to faulty materials or manufacturing defects will be rem-
edied free of charge through replacement or repair. Our Standard Terms and Conditions shall apply
exclusively.

RATING PLATE

The rating plate is attached to the body of the balancer.
It provides detailed information regarding the manufacturer, the type series and the approved
load range of the zero gravity balancer.

For the specifications of each type of balancer, please refer to pages 18 and 19.
