3. INSTALLATION

This must be carried out by skilled personnel. All
connections must be carried out according to current
regulations, and in full observance of safety laws
(regulation CEI 26-23 – CEI CLC 62081).
-
Make sure that the supply voltage matches the
voltage indicated on the specifications plate.
-
When mounting a plug, make sure it has an
adequate capacity, and that the yellow/green
conductor of the power supply cable is connected to
the earth pin.
WARNING! Extension cords of up to 30m must have a
crosssection of at least 2.5 mm

9) Process Selection Button
The process selection control is used to select the
desired welding mode. Three modes are available,
MMA (Stick), LIFT TIG and HF TIG modes.
10) 2T or 4T mode selection Button (LIFT TIG
and HF TIG Mode only)
-
TIG 2T; In this mode, the torch trigger must remain
depressed.
-
TIG 4T; This mode of welding is mainly used for
long welding runs to reduce operator fatigue. In this
mode the operator can press and release the torch
trigger and the output will remain active. To shut off
the arc, the trigger switch must again be depressed
and released, thus eliminating the need for the
operator to hold the torch trigger.
11) Digital Ampère/Volt and parameter display
The digital display is used to display both the pre-set
welding current and welding voltage of the power
source. When welding, the display will show actual
welding current and welding voltage.
It is also used to display Parameters in Programming
7
Mode. Depending on the Programming Parameter
selected, the status indictor adjacent to the display
6
will illuminate to show the units of the programming
parameter.
12) THERMAL PROTECTION
8
The indicator will illuminate if the duty cycle of the
power source has been exceeded.
13) Multifunction Control
The multifunction control knob is used to adjust welding
current. It is also used to adjust parameters when in
programming mode.
14) MMA parameter settings
Press the Process Selection Button (9) to
select MMA modus. Use the multifunctional
control knob (13) to select and adjust the
following parameters:
-
HOT START: 0-10
This led lights to indicate that the
display shows the Hot Start setting.
11
By using the multifunction control
knob (13), this value can be changed.
The welding machine delivers an overcurrent to
improve electrode starting.
-
A – Welding Current: 5-160 Ampère
This led lights to indicate that the display shows the
preset welding current. By using the multifunction
12
control knob (13), the welding current can be
changed.
13
-
ARC FORCE: 0-10
This led lights to indicate that the display shows
the Arc Force setting. By using the multifunction
control knob (13), the setting can be adjusted.
Increasing the Arc Force allows greater penetration
control to be achieved.
15) LIFT TIG en HF TIG parameter settings
These indicator lights will illuminate when programming.
Use the Multi Function Control Knob (13) to adjust the
parameter selected.
