IMPORTANT INSTALLATION /
MAINTENANCE TIPS
• Flush the system prior to installing the head on the swing joints
(or pipe riser) to avoid debris problems. If debris gets in line,
remove the Top Serviceable Rock Screen and flush the line.
• For NPT and BSP thread configurations: apply 2-2
teflon tape to the threaded pipe connection. Do not use pipe
dope.
• For ACME thread configuration: you must use an ACME thread
swing joint assembly. Do not use teflon tape or pipe dope. Do
not tighten. Turn rotor back counter-clockwise one-quarter(⁄ )
of a turn only.
• Thread the rotor onto the thread connection and securely
hand tighten, making sure the top of the rotor is level.
• Metal fittings into EAGLE
Rotors are not recommended. If
™
metal fittings are to be used, hand tighten only.
• For Hydraulic Rotors: Before you connect your hydraulic
tubing, make sure you bleed the air from the tube of the
hydraulic control module.
• Part-Circle Application: Locate the fixed left edge by rotating
the nozzle turret counterclockwise.
• On electric models, be careful to prevent any debris from
entering the Pressure Regulating System when working on the
valve or replacing the selector stem.

rotors may be installed at ground level in all soil types.

SUGERENCIAS IMPORTANTES PARA
LA INSTALACION/MANTENIMIENTO
• Enjuague el sistema antes de instalar la cabeza en las juntas
giratorias (o en el tubo vertical) para evitar problemas
causados por la entrada de basura. Si entra basura en la línea,
quite el cedazo con servicio en la parte superior y enjuague la
línea.
• Para roscas de configuración NPT y BSP: aplique de 2 a 2
vueltas de cinta adhesiva de teflón a la conexión roscada del
tubo. No utilice pasta selladora de tubos.
• Para roscas de configuración ACME: es necesario usar un
ensamblaje de junta giratoria con roscas ACME. No utilice
cinta adhesiva de teflón ni pasta selladora de tubos. No lo
aprieté. Gíre el rotor en sentido contrario a las manecillas del
reloj solomente un cuarto (
• Atornille el rotor en la conexión roscada y apriételo a mano
bien firme, asegurándose que la parte superior del mismo
quede nivelada.
• Tubos de metal en los rotores Eagle no son remendables. Sí se
usan tubos de metal, solo aprietelos con la mano.
• Con rotores hidráulicos: Antes de conectar la tubería
hidráulica, asegúrese de purgar el aire del tubo del módulo de
control hidráulico.
• Aplicación de semicírculo: Determine el límite izquierdo
girando la plataforma de la boquilla en sentido contrahorario.
• Modelos Eléctricos sea cuidadoso para prevenir que la basura
no entre al Systema de Regulación de la Presión cuando se esté
trabajando en la valvula o reemplazando el eje selector.
