3. Introduction

Dear customer,
We wish you lots of enjoyment with your Torqeedo motor.
The Torqeedo propeller is designed for optimum efficiency all round. It features a very
large diameter for its output class as well as a very steep pitch, so it turns comparatively
slowly in the water. What's more, we designed it according to the latest hydrodynamic
findings and optimized it over several thousand successive stages.
The result? A 12" x 10" variable-pitch-variable-camber(VPVC) propeller - in other words,
a propeller with pitch and camber that vary along the propeller blades. The propeller is
especially geared to the output of our motors.
Please take the time to read these operating instructions carefully so that you can use the
propeller properly and enjoy your motor for a long time.
