Showing the illumination value and brightness
symbol
• Press either the "+"key 4 4 or the"-" key 3, to
show the illumination value together with the corre-
sponding brightness symbol.
• Press the "+"key 4 or the"-" key 3 again and the
illumination value and the brightness symbol are no
longer shown.
Power Supply
• Low battery: The "
right-hand corner when the battery voltage is less
than 3.3 V.
• Recharging the battery: The symbol „
lights up during the charging cycle as long as the
battery voltage is less than 4.0V.
The symbol shows that the charging cycle has not
yet been completed.
• Battery full: The symbol „
battery voltage is more than 4.0V. The symbol
shows that the battery is full.
• Charging in Stand-by mode: Select"Yes" The switched
off unit will only consume a minimal amount of power
once it has been connected to the USB charging unit.
This setting conserves battery power. The LEDs re-
main in normal mode intensity throughout the char-
ging cycle.
• Checking the battery capacity: Keep the"+" key
pressed in normal operating mode for 2 seconds.
The battery symbol will appear for approx. 3 seconds
in the top right corner of your display.

07. IMPOrtaNt INfOrMatION

• Do not open the housing of the unit. The housing may
only be opened by trained personnel.
• Treat your videoscope with great care. Treat your
videoscope the way you would treat an expensive
camera.
• The mini-videoscope's swan-neck probe makes it
suitable for underwater work up to a depth of ap

not waterproof and may therefore not be used under
water, in the rain or in any other wet environment.
• Switch the unit off immediately when water has pe-
netrated the housing! You do not only run a real risk
of damaging your unit beyond repair, you are also in
danger of getting an electric shock! Send the unit to
an authorised dealer for maintenance or repair.
• Do not point the videoscope at the sun. This applies
both indoors and out. Do not point at lamp spots,
vehicles with the main beam on or reflectors.
• Only carry out your applications in the ranges as
described in the operating instructions. The device
may only be operated within the temperature range

between 0° - 50°C (32° - 122°F) and with the vol-
tage as described in the operating instructions. The
relative humidity may not exceed 85 %.
In accordance with the EU (European
Union) Directives on Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment (WEEE), electronic
equipment must not be treated as dome-
stic waste, but must be disposed of professionally
in accordance with Directive 2002/96EU of the EU-
ROPEAN COUNCIL AND PARLIAMENT of 27 January
2003 regarding old electrical and electronic equip-
ment. Please dispose of this appliance in a manner
appropriate to the relevant legal requirements at the
end of its product life.
