RESETTING THE FILTER CHANGE INDICATOR

To reset the Power5 change filter indicator, first make sure the unit is plugged in to an
electrical source, and the power button is in the off position. Remove the front cover of
the unit, as described in the filter replacement sequence.
On the front of the Power5 unit, facing you, the upper right area has a square-shaped
cavity. To the lower left of this is a round depression about the size of a dime (approximately
3/4 inch or 1.75 cm), with a smaller hole inside the bottom of it. This is the reset switch.
Using the tip of a pen or pencil, gently press in the center of this small hole, and hold
for ten seconds. This resets the filter indicator. Replace the Power5 front cover.

CLEANING FRONT PANEL

Clean the front panel when it becomes dusty. Sensors in the front panel must be
clean for optimum operation.
Dust the front panel or if necessary wipe with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents,
chemical cleaners or a stiff brush to clean the panel.

CLEANING PARTICLE SENSOR

The particle sensor must be clean for optimum operation. Clean the particle sensor at
least once a month by vacuuming.
