• Logging on devices (Pairing)
Before you listen to music via the unit, you must pair the devices.
1. Ensure, that the Bluetooth function is activated in your player (e.g. mobile phone).
For this, refer to the operation manual of your player.
2. Turn the device on by moving the ON/OFF switch (3) to the ON position. The indi-
cator lamp flashes rapidly. The speaker tries to connect to a device that has been
paired already. If the speaker cannot detect a known device within 30 seconds, a
beep will sound and the indicator light will flash slowly. The device is now set to the
pairing mode.
3. Choose the Bluetooth menu in your player and register the device in your player.
For this, refer to the operation manual of your player. The device "AEG BSS 4827"
will show in your player as a selection.
4. Now enter the password "0000" in your player, depending on the device manufac-
turers, model, and software version.
Once pairing has been successful, a beep will sound and the indicator light will briefly flash
rapidly and then start flashing slowly (2x approx. every 5 seconds).
NOTE:
• Depending on the device manufacturer, you need to perform the registration (PAIR-
ING) again to connect the devices.
• In the case of problems with the pairing of a playback device, deactivate the WiFi-/
and mobile data function in your playback device.
• The Bluetooth compatibility cannot be ensured for devices (e.g. mobile phones) get-
ting released in the future.
• To ensure an optimal connection, make sure that the battery of your player is com-
pletely charged.
• Some of the mobile phone brands have an energy-saving mode. Deactivate the
energy-saving mode as it can otherwise result in problems during the data transfer
through Bluetooth.
• To be able to transfer audio data, Bluetooth needs to stay activated in your player.
Observe the operation manual of your player.
• If a mobile phone on which you are playing music receives a call, the music will be
interrupted. A beep will sound approx. every 3 seconds. Press
answer the call. The speakers will output the sound. Speak into the microphone on
the device or transfer the call to your mobile phone. Follow the display message on
your mobile phone when doing so. When having finished the call, both devices will
reconnect again. If necessary, start playback manually.
